The squad took a break from footballing action on Wednesday as they were put through their paces by the physical training experts of the Royal Air Force.

After spending an hour on a specially designed indoor obstacle course at RAF Digby, the players headed to Cranwell to practice shooting of a different kind at their DCCT Range. The afternoon was then split between rock climbing and volleyball before the valuable team building day ended with a vigorous spinning class.

"On behalf of the Football Club I would like to thank all team leaders and staff at RAF Digby and RAF Cranwell for their support and encouragement and for the work they have done with my players," said manager David Holdsworth.

"For a new group of players to engage in team building exercise and mental strategy, Digby was a great place to perform and focus together.

"The players worked hard as a team and were fully motivated to get the best out of each other and whilst demanding and physically testing, they had a good day together in a new environment.

"It has been a thoroughly energising exercise and very worthwhile."
