Head of Youth Grant Brown has been placed in caretaker charge of first team affairs until such time as David Holdsworth's successor is appointed.
This will be Brown's third stint in caretaker charge with the former Imps' skipper - the Club's record appearance holder during his playing days - having taken over first team duties for two games in October 2007 and four games in October 2011.
Holdsworth left the Club by mutual consent on Sunday with his last game in charge being the 3-2 reverse at Hereford United. Our next two games are both on home soil with Saturday's visit of Barrow being following by a local derby against Mansfield Town on Tuesday evening.
