Following on from the statement issued on Sunday afternoon, the Board of Directors would like to release the following update:-
Grant Brown and Chris Moyses have been placed in caretaker charge for the home games against Barrow this Saturday and Mansfield Town next Tuesday.
After the results in the Blue Square Bet Premier last night, these two games are vital in the Club's attempts to climb away from the relegation zone and we would therefore ask all supporters who have the club at heart to turn out in force and support Grant, Chris and the players.
The consequences of relegation this season do not bear thinking about and therefore we need you.
As far as the position of manager is concerned, the Club has received numerous applications which are being reviewed and the Board is hopeful of announcing further news on this in the next 7-10 days.
