Goalkeeper Paul Farman has today been recalled from his loan at Boston United.
Farman's recall comes ahead of this weekend's FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round trip to Alfreton Town and on the back of a decision by Birmingham City not to give permission for Nick Townsend to play for us in the competition.
Agreement was initially made with Birmingham that Townsend could play in the FA Cup but following a change of management at St Andrews, Blues officials have now informed us that they do not want Townsend cup-tied, at least until a new permanent manager is appointed.
Townsend has a recall clause in his season-long youth loan which can be activated between January 4th and 31st 2015 inclusive if needed. Permission has been granted for the stopper to play in the FA Trophy.
