A Message from the Chairman

29 April 2017

Sponsored by

Chairman Bob Dorrian with a message to supporters...

Dear Lincoln City fan,

What a historic season! History made in the Emirates FA Cup and Champions of The Vanarama National League!

The journey began in May 2016 when we unveiled the most talented young management team in lower league football and culminated in being crowned champions of the Vanarama National League in front of over 10,000 fans at Sincil Bank on a sunny Saturday afternoon in April of this year. Victories over Championship clubs Ipswich Town and Brighton & Hove Albion plus Premier League Burnley were part of this historic journey before we bowed out of the FA Cup to Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in the quarter finals. What a journey, what an achievement, what a season!

We are finally back in the English Football League after six long years and are looking forward to a new season and a new adventure with the Cowley brothers. We are all excited about what next season will bring and it won’t be too long before we will be lining up to play our first Football League match since 2011. Thank you for your support over the last six years and I hope you feel, like me, that Lincoln City Football Club is definitely on the ascendancy, led by a talented and competent young management team.

SEASON TICKET PRICES CAN BE FOUND HERE

The Board is very keen to support Danny and Nicky and to meet their aspirations for next season and beyond. We are already looking at potential sites for a new training ground and we are committed to giving them a budget for next season that will allow them to compete at the top end of League 2. We have introduced a marginal increase in season ticket prices for the 2017/18 season, our first increase in prices since we last kicked a ball in the Football League back in 2010/11. I don’t think any season ticket holder would question the value that they received from their 2016/17 season ticket and I think you will find that the 2017/18 prices are extremely good value and very competitive when compared to other League 2 clubs in our area.

We offer a monthly payment plan with Zebra Finance should you wish to avail yourself of this facility and, as always, there is a renewal discount for all season ticket holders who renew early. Information about the monthly payment option with Zebra Finance is available via the Club Office. For the avoidance of doubt, supporters who purchased Final StrEight tickets will also qualify for the renewal discount.

Thank you for your support. We have finally made it back to the English Football League and we have a management team that can and will make us competitive and capable of challenging in League 2. We would never have dreamt in our wildest dreams that we would have been as successful as we were this season.

Dare we dream again…?

Up the Imps!
