Striker Jonny Margetts has signed a one-year deal with the Club following a successful trial spell.
Margetts has been training with the Imps for a couple of weeks and has certainly impressed in pre-season, scored twice against Grantham Town in the Lincolnshire FA County Senior Cup supported by Bluefin Sport before helping himself to a hat-trick in Tuesday evening’s 3-0 success at Boston United.
A former Hull City trainee, Margetts had loan spells with Gainsborough Trinity, Harrogate Town and Cambridge United before signing for Tranmere Rovers last summer. A regular for Tranmere in the early part of last season, Doncaster-born Margetts finished the campaign on loan at Altrincham and then Southport.
He has been handed the number 13 squad shirt.
