Pre-season starts with a Friday night trip to Grantham and a Saturday match at Worksop Town...
The Imps will get the pre-season campaign underway at Grantham Town this coming Friday, 8 July 2016, in the Lincolnshire FA County Senior Cup supported by Bluefin Sport.The quarter-final encounter at South Kesteven Sports Stadium will kick-off at 7.45pm with the winners drawn away to either Gainsborough Trinity or Lincoln United in the semi-finals.
Admission prices are as follows:-
Adults: £10
Concessions: £6
Juniors U16: £3
The following day manager Danny Cowley will take his players to Worksop Town for friendly at 3pm. Admission prices at Sandy Lane will be £5 for adults, £3 for concessions and £2 for 11-16 year olds. Juniors 10 and under will be admitted free when accompanied by an adult. Supporters are advised to park in the Wickes overspill car park if possible.
“The aim is to give as many players as I can 90 minutes over the course of the two games, although we will be restricted a bit at Grantham due to the competition rules allowing only seven substitutes,” said Cowley.
