Representatives from three local charities will be at Sincil Bank Stadium on Saturday to receive cheques from the Club on behalf of the Football Association through its Community Shield Fund.
Lincoln City FC Sport & Education Trust's Inspiring Lives Appeal together with the BGU Foundation Fund and Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance will each receive a share of the Club’s £2,000 section of the fund.
The Football Association makes an annual distribution of money raised from the Community Shield match, split evenly between the 124 clubs competing in The FA Cup 2014/15 (First Round Proper onwards) for them to donate to three local charities.
