Wood Lifts The Silverware

Bradley Wood was named 'Player of the Season' for 2015/16 prior to Saturday's game against Woking.

Wood was presented with the Vic Withers Memorial Trophy by Brian Baldam of the Lincoln & District Football Supporters Club, pipping Matt Rhead and Paul Farman to the silverware.

The popular Wood also lifted the Bill Stacey Memorial Trophy for Away Player of the Season as voted for by the fans on the Red Imps Travel Section coaches. He was presented with the trophy by Trevor and David Stacey, son and grandson of Bill Stacey.

The winner of the 'Young Player of the Season', meanwhile, was decided by the management team and went to Elliot Hodge whilst Brian Baldam was presented with the Ray Hill Vounteer Memorial Shield by chairman Bob Dorrian to mark 50 years' of fundraising with the Lincoln & District Football Supporters Club.

Lincolnshire Echo Sports Editor John Pakey also presented Bradley Wood with the Lincolnshire Echo Player of the Season trophy, making it a triple success for the City star.
