Fans Shirt To Celebrate 125 Years

Posted on: Thu 28 Jan 2010

Having recently announced plans for the 'Fans Shirt' we are delighted to announce further details on this fantastic way to be part of City's history.

Fans from past and present were able to get themselves involved in the Club's landmark celebrations by getting their name printed on every shirt that is produced, meaning supporters could become part of City's illustrious history.

The shirt is on sale now in the Club Shop and will be worn by City's youth team at their away games, during the 125th anniversary season, with all proceeds raised from the Fans Shirt going towards the youth department, helping develop generations of City stars to come.

The design is a traditional Lincoln Green colour and will include supporters names as well as the all time top 125 Football League appearance holders from the Club's 125 years.

The Fans Shirt also gave local businesses the opportunity to have their company logo on a playing shirt.

City Chairman Steff Wright said, "Not only is this a fantastic oppotunity for fans and businesses to have their names on this piece of history, the money raised will go straight into helping develop the stars of the future."

The cut-off date for getting your name on the shirt has now passed but further information on how to order the shirt is available from www.redimps.com/clubshop or call the Club Shop on (01522) 563791, email - clubshop@redimps.com
