"125 Gallery"

Posted on: Thu 28 Jan 2010

As an addition to this year's Lincoln City FC Community Open Day, the Club will be hosting a "125 Gallery" celebrating historical Lincoln.

To coincide with the Imps 125th anniversary we are looking for people to come forward and showcase any collections of historical photos, programmes, or items of interest to the people of Lincoln on our Community Open Day which takes place on Sunday 19th July 2009.

We will be showing artefacts from the history of football and of Lincoln in general, at our Community Open Day. If you have any collections then we are would like you to come forward and contribute to the day.

This year's Community Open Day takes place on Sunday 19th July (10.30am - 3pm) and will include a whole host of fun family activities, forming part of the Lincoln Summer Gala, 'Three for Free' weekend.

Event organiser Rob Noble commented, 'We are looking for the people of Lincoln to come forward and share their historical items and memories of the City, as the club celebrate our 125th anniversary this year.'

'It will provide a great opportunity for people to view historical Lincoln and take a trip down memory lane.'

Anyone interested in taking part or for more information, please contact Rob Noble on 01522 563790 or email rob.noble@redimps.com.
