Interest

Interest rates for the Lincoln City Account are variable and tiered. As your savings grow, you qualify for higher tiers of interest and the new rate is paid automatically on the total balance in your account.

The Lincoln City Account gives you easy access to your money through any branch of the Society, without losing interest. Your money will earn interest up to, but excluding, the day you withdraw your money.

Cheques paid into your account will earn interest from the third day after the day we receive your cheque. Money paid into your account in cash or by Bankers' Automated Credit will earn interest from the day we receive it. Interest is then paid for each full day your money is invested, and will be added to your account in January each year.

Withdrawals made by children under seven years old must be confirmed in writing by their parent or guardian.

Joint accounts

An investment account can be held jointly by two or more people. The Society will accept instructions from any account holder for transactions or any other purposes in connection with the account (including an agreement to waive any of the terms and conditions) unless advised otherwise in writing.

More information is available from either the Norwich and Peterborough Building Society or Lincoln City Football Club.
