Imps Birthday Lotto - Rules

Posted on: Tue 24 May 2011

RULES FOR THE IMPS BIRTHDAY LOTTO
WEEKLY PRIZE DRAW

The draw will take place on a Monday for the previous Friday.

This is done via a random number selector between 1 and the total number of members. The number selected establishes the winning birthday date and a search is then made for other members on the database with the same date. If a duplicate is found the £1,000 will be shared.

There will at present be 45 x £10 prizes and if, when the 40th prize is drawn, there is more than one member with the same date they will all win £10.

Prizes will increase or decrease depending on the amount of members. All members will receive a membership card stating their date of birth and membership number. It does not have to be their date of birth it can be any date they choose.

The subscription every week if £1 per each date, which will be paid in advance of joining. This is a weekly draw and therefore £1 will be paid for every week until such time as the member advises it to be cancelled. It is the responsibility of the member to cancel their membership via their agent or by sending their card into Lincoln City F.C.

ROLL OVER PRIZE

The Draw for this prize will take place at the same time but will actually be made by creating a date on the random number selector. 1910 to 2011 will be set in the machine and a number drawn to determine the year. 1 to 12 will then be entered to establish the month. Once the year and month have been created and as long as it is not February or a Leap Year or April, June, September and November, 1 to 31 will be selected to create the day. If it falls where the month drawn is one of the above then the appropriate number of days in the month will be selected - ie 1 to 30, 1 to 29 or 1 to 28 as necessary. When a date is formed it will be entered onto the database to establish if any person has that date. If it is not forecast then the prize will roll over to the next week. However if it is claimed and there is more than one winner the prize will be shared.

These rules are strictly adhered to on all occasions and the management decision is final on such matters.
