... building towards the future

Jackson Building Centres is a regional chain of builders' merchants trading from 28 different locations from North Yorkshire to Cambridgeshire. Our turnover for 2008 was £150 million and employ approximately 800 people.

We are dedicated to providing products and services to benefit everyone from the professional tradesman to the DIY enthusiast or home builder. We value our customers and are committed to building and maintaining strong customer relations.

Our brands are national, but our business activities are local. We want to give the large-scale benefits of the best possible quality and functionality at competitive prices, combined with local knowledge and service.

Our reputation is built upon over sixty years of service to the region. Continuous expansion means we are able to reach out further to meet the needs of an ever-increasing customer base.

Since 2003 we have been a core division of the Grafton Group and now trade as a stand alone brand within the award winning Grafton Merchanting GB. We work closely with our sister companies in the UK, Plumbase and Buildbase and enjoy the synergy and benefits of large group buying potential, whilst retaining the ability to offer regional expertise and local knowledge.
