SOS Skip Hire & Haulage

Posted on: Tue 12 Jul 2011

The family behind SOS Skip Hire & Haulage Ltd have been helping Lincoln dispose of its waste for nearly 40 years.

The original company was started by "Scrappy" Jim O'Seery. Many Lincoln City fans will be familiar with City Scrap's yard on Firth Road and then Great Northern Terrace.

From scrap metal the company moved into other areas of waste disposal. Saracen Ltd runs a fully licensed waste transfer station on Dale Street for the disposal of a wide variety of trade waste and also built up a thriving domestic and commercial skip hire business.

Following the tragic death of Jim's son Sean O'Seery the skip business was rebranded in tribute, using his initials to create SOS Skip Hire & Haulage Ltd.
