Artistic Pupils Deliver Healthy Message
The Football in the Community team recently teamed up with St Hugh's RC Primary School to support an art competition.
The healthy poster competition, devised by members of the School Council, encouraged pupils to express their artistic talents to demonstrate the importance of living an active and healthy lifestyle.
The school places great emphasis on sport and activity within the curriculum with tennis, swimming, netball, athletics, hockey, tag rugby, gymnastics and football all high on the school's agenda.
Coaching staff from the Club's Football in the Community programme currently deliver both curriculum-time PE and after-school clubs at the school, and the Club was delighted to support the competition by donating a number of signed footballs as prizes.
