Girls Player Development Centre enjoy mini tournament at Norwich City's Football in the Community centre.

Last Thursday players were selected from our Girls Player Development Centre to participate in an U9's 4 v 4 Football Festival at Carrow Park, home of Norwich City Football in the Community, which is situated next to Carrow Road Stadium. The girls competed in mini games on a round robin basis playing against Colchester United and the hosts Norwich City.

The 10 player squad that formed two teams included Stacey Wasyliw, Alice Smith, Katie Lane, Amy Lane, Olivia Smith, Jade Holmes, Jennifer Evans, Lily Buckberry, Imogen Burnley and Elise Keyworth. All the players had a fantastic time competing against players with immense potential for the future from other areas of the country at such a young age.

The Girls Player Development Centre is run on Friday evenings from 6.00pm until 8.00pm at Rustons Sports Ground Astroturf and it is specifically aimed at 7-12 year olds and the cost per session is just £3.00.
