Silver Status Awarded To Community Trust

Posted on: Wed 24 Feb 2010

We are delighted to announce that the Lincoln City FC Community Scheme has been awarded an upgrade from the Bronze to Silver accreditation for the increase in quality provision.

The scheme has been recognised for the increase in the variety of different aspects of the business including Equality and Diversity, the Environment, the range of projects, future growth and sustainability.

It also means that the amount of funding that feeds its way into the scheme is increased from the Football League Trust which is always most welcome.

This is the highest recognition any Community Scheme can achieve at the present moment as the Gold Accreditation is currently being written.

Pictured here are Mike Evans, Guy Rippon and the General Manager of the Football League Trust, Dave Edmundson who were our guests at the Accrington game at Sincil Bank. They were joined on the pitch by Chairman of the LCFC Community Trust, Kevin Cooke, Trustees Geoff Wilkins and Steve De Wint, Community Manager Richard Cooper and Community Office Manager Jane Cooper.
