Here are just a few offers that may interest our young supporters and families...

As part of a national campaign with the Football League the Club runs various schemes and offers to encourage young children and families to SIncil Bank. The Club has been shortlisted for League 2 Family Club of the Year at the prestigious Football League Awards which is an indication that Lincoln City Football Club is improving its match day experience for families and our young supporters.

The Football in the Community invites several different local schools to every home match during the season, as well as holding the Domino's Cup - a primary school half time tournament.

Other schemes include Poacher's 7's, themed matches and 'Kids For £2' on selected match days.

Below are a selection of current offers and initiatives available to our young supporters and families.

Half Term "Kids For a Quid" Offer

A special "Kids For A Quid" offer will be in operation for next week's home matches against Gillingham (Oct 28) and Port Vale (Nov 1).

This half-term offer means that instead of the usual prices of £5 for early bird and £6 on the day of the match, all under-16 tickets will be priced just £1 - either in advance or through the turnstiles on the day!

Please note that this offer will be applicable to all areas of the stadium with the exception of Fox Executive Lounge where the normal pricing structure will be in operation.

Enjoy the Match

Enjoy the Match

The Football League has launched a new campaign, for the 2008/09 season, aimed at encouraging even more families to attend matches at Sincil Bank.

The Enjoy the Match campaign aims to ensure parents can take their children to matches in a family friendly environment. It will focus on removing abusive language and aggressive behaviour from family areas.

The Imps will proactively steward family areas and display prominent signage discouraging anti-social behaviour. Additionally, a PA announcement, voiced by local children, will be played before each match to encourage positive support.

In the run-up to the new season Jacko and players have underlined their support by signing a pledge board which will be displayed in the family area of the ground. We encourage supporters to show their support for the campaign by signing the online pledge at www.enjoythematch.co.uk.

Jacko said, "This is a great initiative for everyone connected with the Club to get involved with. Enjoy the Match will help to provide a positive family atmosphere at the ground which will hopefully keep young fans coming through the gates."

Marketing Manager, James Lazenby, said, "Having been shortlisted at the 2008 Football League Awards for Family Club of the Year whilst also receiving The Football League's Family Excellence Award, Lincoln City is one of the leading lower League clubs when it comes to promoting a family environment so we welcome this new initiative from The Football League."

He continued, "We have introduced a new membership scheme for our younger supporters - Poacher's Family Club - and we will also continue to improve the entertainment on match days to make watching the Imps a day out for the family, which in turn will hopefully bring more people to Sincil Bank."

The Football League is supporting the campaign with a range of club guidance and resources, match day programme advertisements, viral video and a promotional campaign.

Enjoy the Match has been introduced following a 'mystery shopper' exercise staged at all 72 League grounds last season. This exercise revealed that swearing formed a key negative impression on families at 46% of the 144 games assessed.

In launching Enjoy the Match, Football League Chairman, Lord Mawhinney, said, "Young supporters will be the lifeblood of our clubs in years to come.It is therefore vitally important that we encourage more parents to bring their children into our grounds by creating a vibrant, family friendly atmosphere at all matches."

Poacher's Family Club - A scheme for children and families.

As an extension to the current schools scheme in the Family Stand area, there will be a membership scheme for children and families which will, among other benefits, include low cost match day tickets for that area. The scheme will create "Poacher's Corner" as a family focused area of Sincil Bank Stadium where children and families can enjoy watching the Imps in a fun and safe environment.

The membership is open to under 16's with a membership cost of just £20 per season. Membership will have the following benefits as a minimum:

- Opportunity to purchase a £1 child ticket for each Coca-Cola League 2 game in the Family/IMPS Stand, with an accompanying adult ticket for £7.
- E-Newsletter once a month with fantastic offers and news
- E-Birthday card
- E-Christmas card
- An invitation to Poacher's Christmas party at Sincil Bank
- 10% discount off Club Shop merchandise
- 10% discount off mascot packages
- Discount off non-football family events at Sincil Bank(e.g Fireworks Night)

Dave Roberts, Chief Executive Officer, said, "After consulting with a number of supporter groups we wanted to offer a scheme that would further encourage young supporters and families to Sincil Bank, and build on the excellent work already done"

"Having a focused area in the stadium on match days will give great opportunities to have a family orientated match day experience, with such things as face painting and other children activities.

"One decision that has already been made is that there will be a zero tolerance on bad language in that area."

Once again we'll be hosting our hugely successful six-a-side half-time tournament - the Domino's Cup - and we would like to thank Domino's Pizza for their continued support and sponsorship of this competition.

Sixteen primary schools from Lincoln and the surrounding area will again line up for the wonderful opportunity of playing in front of a packed house at Sincil Bank during the half-time break in a League Two fixture. This season's winners will receive a trophy to keep in the school, medals and vouchers for each player, and every player from every school will receive a certificate from the Club.
