Lincoln City Ladies' home game against Aston Villa today has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

A new date for the game will be announced in due course whilst the Lady Imps' next match will be their final away game, at Sunderland next Sunday, April 6th.

As a result of the cancellation, all eyes were on Nottingham Forest's trip to Newcastle United. Anything other than a win for Forest would have handed the title initiative to City, but the Nottinghamshire girls recorded a 3-1 victory to keep the pressure on the Lincoln lasses.
