Ladies Out To Chop Down Forest
A win over Nottingham Forest tonight will send Lincoln City Ladies to the top of the FA Tesco Women's Premier Northern Division table.
The Lady Imps travel to Nottinghamshire a point behind league leaders Forest and will be looking to avenge the 2-1 defeat that was inflicted on them a month ago.
That reverse was City's first and only defeat of their free-scoring season to date which has seen them bang in 28 goals from their opening seven league fixtures with the in-form strike duo of Jodie Snelson and Stacey Aisthorpe netting 22 between them, putting them at the top of the division's goalscoring charts.
At the other end of the pitch, goalkeeper Kay Hawke will be hoping for a less eventful match than she had on Sunday as she required several stitches in a head wound following a clash with Stockport's Krystal Johnson. Stand-in stopper Kirsty Richardson proved a more than ample replacement in that game, however, helping the Lady Imps to a 3-0 success over the Hatters.
Tonight's game against Forest will take place at Dunkirk F.C. with a 7.45pm kick-off.
