Freck Pays Youngsters Surprise Visit

Posted on: Mon 22 Oct 2007

Our Football in the Community department kicked off their holiday courses today with Imps' midfielder Lee Frecklington on hand to answer questions and sign autographs for youngsters attending the "Super Strikers" course.

With the annual Kick It Out week of action currently running across the country we are supporting the message 'One Game, One Community' as part of our commitment to promoting inclusion in the game and working alongside all communities to kick racism out of football.

Whilst Saturday's game against Peterborough United was our designated Kick It Out game, the FITC courses that are taking part at Sincil Bank Stadium this week, will give youngsters the chance to discuss racism in football whilst, thanks to local radio station Lincs FM 102.2, they will also receive Kick It Out goodies and leaflets.

Lee Frecklington was today's special guest and his appearance rounded off a thoroughly enjoyable day for the youngsters who had took part in the day's events.
