"Everyone Has To Work Together" : Jacko
New manager Peter Jackson had sent out a rallying call urging all supporters to come out in force and help turn around the Club's fortunes on the pitch.
Jackson takes over an Imps' side who go into Friday night's game against one of his former sides, Chester City, and was quick to stress how important it is for everyone connected with the Club to unite and focus on the job in hand.
"There is no room for the Club to be in sections," said the 46-year-old, who was named as John Schofield's successor on Tuesday night.
"Everyone has to work together and that includes the players, the staff behind the scenes and the fans.
"We'll only get out of the situation we're in at the moment by working as a group and everybody needs to stick together, whether that be through the good times or the bad times.
"The only thing that isn't in place at the moment to take this club forward is the results on the pitch, which is the most important aspect of a football club, so it is important I turn the results around.
"Yes, I'm now the figure head of this club and I'm the one who's going to be judged on results but it's really important that the fans get behind the team, starting on Friday against Chester."

City supporters will remember Jackson from his days in charge at Huddersfield, which included an enthralling two-legged play-off semi-final in 2004. His commitment to the cause, which was clearly evident then, is something that he's keen to show now he's at the Imps' helm.
"I'm very passionate about my club, my players and my supporters," he added.
"I've probably shown that on the touchline a number of times when I've got carried away and been sent to the stands, but I am a winner and I enjoy winning.
"I want that passion to spread throughout the Club and I want teams to fear coming to Sincil Bank as was the case when I visited with my previous club.
"Obviously that may have changed over the past six months or so, so what we have to do now is to start picking up results at home and make Sincil Bank a fortress.
"I'm confident in the players and they've got a good opportunity to prove to me in the next three matches that they are good enough to play for Lincoln City. It will also be my main focus to pick the players up who are bound to be low in confidence at the moment."
