Cut The Cost Of Travelling

Posted on: Tue 17 Jun 2008

Driving to Sincil Bank on a match day and have a few empty seats?

Following the announcement that season ticket holders will once again be able to receive free travel on match days with Stagecoach the Club would like to make supporters aware of another fantastic scheme which could help save on travel costs.

Football Car-share is a free to use service created to help you find other fans travelling to the same venue at the same time so that you can split the travelling costs.

Registering couldn't be simpler and could help you cut the cost of watching the Imps.

Chairman Steff Wright, who is keen for supporters to sign up, said it was another great scheme that the Club is promoting to help make watching Lincoln City more affordable.

He said, "The Club is very conscious that living and travelling costs have rocketed over the past couple of years and to counter that we have produced a number of offers and incentives to make purchasing a season ticket more affordable.

"Overall, season ticket holders saved over £3,000 through the Stagecoach offer last season and we're delighted that we can once again provide this fantastic service."

"However, this new scheme (Football Car-share) can help save travelling costs to and from both home and away games which is open to all fans. Furthermore, the scheme could also give supporters the chance to meet new friends."
