A Day To Remember

Posted on: Mon 21 Jul 2008

Over 1,500 people flocked to Sincil Bank this weekend to enjoy an action packed day at this year's Community Day.

With the rain holding off all day, supporters enjoyed a host of activities with the main attraction being the 'meet the players' event in the Trust Suite with supporters patiently queuing outside the building waiting for their chance to meet the new squad and Peter Jackson.

"It has proved to be another successful Community Day and we'd like to thank everyone who took part and helped out on the day," said Marketing Manager James Lazenby.

"Annual events such as the Community Day and our Fireworks Night make Lincoln City Football Club different to so many other professional football clubs because we try our utmost to involve the community, and hopefully everyone who attended yesterday had an enjoyable time."

Other attractions on the day included Poacher's 10th birthday party, children's rides and activities, stadium tours, live music, cheerleading workshops, balloon modelling, face painting and lots more.
