New signing Adrian Patulea would like to thank all supporters for the backing they've given him as he waits patiently for his international clearance to be granted.

Patulea, who joined the Club from Romanian side Petrolul Ploiesti for an undisclosed fee last Friday, is still waiting for international clearance to be come through to enable him to be named in Saturday's squad for the visit of Barnet to Sincil Bank.

Speaking to the press in the run up to the Barnet game, the 24-year-old heaped praise on the fans who have quickly taken to him.

"I want to thank them as their support for me was extraordinary," he said. "I'm ready to play for them and show them my qualities."
