It's not too late to enter a team into this year's six-a-side tournament. Entries will close on Friday but there are still a couple of places remaining in each age group. Teams who have entered already will be receiving their information this week.

We are offering the winning team of the Lincoln City six-a-side youth football tournament free tickets to a Lincoln City match of their choice next season for the team and two coaches. They will also be invited onto the pitch at half time to receive their cup and have a photo with one of the players.

As the places fill up for the event, which will see 144 teams participate, we have now added this star prize for the winning team in each age group.

The tournament will take place at the Lincolnshire Showground. Each participating team is guaranteed at least five matches in the group stages of the tournament. Every player in teams taking part at U7 and U8 will be given a medal to remember the day by whilst teams at U9 to U16 will go through group stages and knock outs to decide a winner and runner up for each age group.

The winners and runner ups will all be awarded medals and the winning team will be presented with a trophy at half-time in a League match of their choice to which they will also be granted free entry!

At the Lincolnshire Showground, as well as the 420 matches which will be played over the two days, there will be plenty to do for the whole family at the fantastic venue including inflatables, food stands, penalty competition, rides and much more.

Each club may enter 2 teams per age group. U7 to U11 teams will play on the Saturday and U12 to U16 teams on the Sunday.
