We are pleased to announce that, after a successful first year of securing sponsorship, our Youth Development Board have finalised a deal which will see Abacus EW Consultancy Ltd become principal sponsors of our scholarship programme.

The two-year sponsorship agreement will see the logo of Wellingore-based Abacus EW Consultancy Ltd appear on the front of the scholars' home shirts, as well as on their tracksuits, and it is hoped that the newly sponsored kit will be unveiled at the pre-season friendly match against Sleaford Town at the Club's Community Open Day on Sunday 19 July 2009.

"I am delighted to be able to confirm Abacus EW Consultancy Ltd as principal sponsors of our scholarship programme, and am delighted that co-owners Paul and Allison Burrows have chosen to support their local football club in this way," said Youth Development Board chairman Chris Travers.

"We have been seeking a major sponsor of this calibre for some time, and it is fantastic to be able to announce that we have been able to secure a two-year agreement with a local company with strong local connections who have chosen to evidence their support of the local community by sponsoring our youth department in this manner."

Paul Burrows, Director and co-owner of Abacus EW Consultancy Ltd, added: "Both Allison and myself are lifelong football fans and being the directors of Abacus EW we are proud to be in the position to offer support to our local team at Lincoln City.

"In particular, we look forward to sponsoring the LCFC Youth Team for the foreseeable future and we both hope that this is just the start of a successful venture for both parties.
