As manager Peter Jackson prepares his squad for the 2009/10 pre-season campaign, here's a brief update on his current professional playing squad:

Richard Butcher, Shane Clarke, Chris Fagan, Daniel Hone, Lenell John-Lewis and Moses Swaibu are all under contract until June 30th 2011 whilst Aaron Brown, Rob Burch, Jamie Clarke, Paul Green, Scott Kerr, Janos Kovacs and Stefan Oakes are all under contract until June 30th 2010.

Joe Heath, meanwhile, has joined the Club on a six-month loan from Nottingham Forest and Sam Mullarkey will rejoin the squad for pre-season training with his contract offer being reviewed by both parties prior to the start of the season.

Finally, Dany N'Guessan and Adrian Patulea have joined Leicester City and Leyton Orient respectively having turned down the offers handed to them at the end of last season, whilst Lee Beevers, who was not offered a new contract but still engaged in discussions with regards to a contract offer which was made to him earlier this year, has signed for Colchester United.
