Chris Herd has had his loan contract with the Imps extended until the end of the season.

The Australian U20 international midfielder has impressed since joining from Aston Villa in November and scored his first goal for the Club in the home game against Rochdale.

The FA Cup sponsored by E.ON Third Round tie at Bolton Wanderers was Herd's sixth League and Cup outing in a City shirt and had it not been for a couple of impressive saves by Trotters' keeper Ali Al Habsi, he could well have added to his goal tally at the Reebok Stadium.
