At the conclusion of Wednesday afternoon's reserve team fixture against Newcastle United, the South Park end of the playing surface at Sincil Bank Stadium was covered in preparation for Saturday's Coca-Cola League 2 game against Rotherham United.

The covers have ensured that the surface underneath wasn't subjected to an overnight freeze and although there's a light dusting of snow on it, the pitch as it stands is in a perfectly playable condition.
