Rob Bradley Pays Tribute

Posted on: Thu 04 Mar 2010

Former chairman Rob Bradley has paid tribute to Keith Alexander, who sadly passed away on Wednesday aged 53.

Rob, chairman of the Imps during the Club's two play-off final appearances at the Millennium Stadium, paid tribute to Keith on behalf of the Lincoln City Supporters Trust, of which he remains heavily involved as liaison with the national trust body Supporters Direct.

"Keith was a wonderful manager of our club and, beyond that, a fine man," said Rob.

"He subscribed to the community ethos of the Club and was the most important element in Lincoln City rising from near extinction and achieving success.

"I had the honour of working with him during my spell on the Board and he was pleasure to be associated with. He had the skill of bringing people together and bonding a team, on and off the pitch. Lincoln City Football Club owe Keith a huge debt of gratitude and he will remain in the memory of everyone for ever.

"Our thoughts are with Helen and his family and friends, to whom we extend our deepest sympathy. We have lost a gentle man, and a gentleman, and he will be sorely missed."
