The Imps came from behind to earn a share of the spoils against Dagenham & Redbridge at Sincil Bank Stadium on Tuesday evening.
City started the game brightly with Steven Lennon hitting the post in the second minute before visiting 'keeper Tony Roberts twice denied the Scot with a couple of brave saves. The Imps, however, were made to pay for failing to take the chances when Jon Nurse gave the Daggers a 33rd minute lead; the striker neatly lifting the ball over Rob Burch after he was played in by Paul Benson.
Midway through the second half the Imps got back on level terms. Scott Kerr released Matt Saunders down the left and after his deep centre was headed down by Lennon , there to sweep the ball home was Davide Somma for his third in as many games on Lincoln soil.
City ultimately had Burch to thank for a share of the spoils with the Imps' number one producing a magnificent one handed save to keep out a 73rd minute downward header from Marlon Pack whilst Joe Anderson cleared a Mark Arber shot off his own line.
