Posted on: Thu 18 Mar 2010

Two Lincoln City fans will be taking part in a motorbike ride around the country this Easter to raise money for Help for Heroes.

Imps fan Steve Daulton and friend Steve Murtagh, will embark on the trek which will cover around 2,000 miles of British roads over the seven days and he was at Wigan Yamaha this week to pick up the motorbike donation for the ride along with former Imps player and ex-serviceman Simon Yeo who is now an ambassador for the Football League's Charity of the Year.

The ride will begin in Blackpool before heading up to Glasgow, Edinburgh and Newcastle. At the Humber Bridge on Monday 5th April they will be met by City's Chief Executive Dave Roberts who will ride with the pair into Sincil Bank when the Imps entertain Morecambe on Easter Monday.

After taking in the game the duo will ride off around the rest of the country to Ipswich, Portsmouth and Liverpool before arriving back at Blackpool.
