Norwich City centre-back David Stephens is set to join the Imps on a youth loan which will run until the end of the season.

A first year professional at Carrow Road, 18-year-old Stephens initially joined Norwich City as a 13-year-old and played the majority of his Academy games as a central midfield player before moving to his current position of centre-back.

Born in Welwyn Garden City, Stephens represented Wales at both Under-17 and Under-19 levels, and made his Norwich first team debut in October 2009 as a substitute in the a 1-0 Johnstone's Paint Trophy win over Gillingham.

The paperwork involved in his move to Sincil Bank has been submitted this morning and should approval be given, Stephens will go straight into the squad for the Coca-Cola League 2 match at Torquay United on Saturday.
