There are only a few spaces left for the official Lincoln City youth 6-a-side tournament with over 110 teams already signed up.

Following on from last year's successful event, the 2010 tournament will take place at the Lincolnshire Showground on the weekend of 5th and 6th June.

It will follow a similar format to last years event with games for under 7 to under 16 for the boys and under 12/13 and u14/15 for the girls.

The remaining spaces are as follows

Under 7's - 3 spaces
Under 8's - FULL
Under 9's - FULL
Under 10's - 4 spaces
Under 11's - 3 spaces
Under 12's - 4 spaces
Under 13's - 1 spaces
Under 14's - 2 spaces
Under 15's - FULL
Under 16's - FULL

At the Lincolnshire Showground, as well as the hundreds of matches which will be played over the two days, there will be plenty to do for the whole family at the fantastic venue including inflatable's, food stands, penalty competition, rides and much more.

Every player in teams taking part at U7 and U8 will be given a medal to remember the day by whilst teams at U9 to U16 will go through group stages and knock outs to decide a winner and runner up for each age group.

The winners and runner ups will also be awarded medals and the winning team will be presented with a trophy at half-time in a Lincoln City League match of their choice to which they will also be granted free entry and a photo on the pitch!

Each participating team is guaranteed at least five matches in the group stages of the tournament and each club may enter 2 teams per age group. U7 to U11 teams will play on the Saturday and U12 to U16 teams on the Sunday, while the girls tournament will see the under 12/13 taking place on the Saturday and the under 15/16 on the Sunday.
