'Trust Us To Cover It'

Posted on: Fri 07 May 2010

Lincoln City Supporters Trust are delighted to announce the launch of a new campaign to raise funds for Chris Sutton and Lincoln City Football Club.

New Football League regulations mean that from season 2010/11 all clubs will have to own full pitch covers to lessen the possibility of matches being postponed. The aim of the campaign is to contribute towards this compulsory cost by promoting membership of the Trust or receiving donations.

Season 2010/11 will be manager Chris Sutton's first full season. He will be assembling his own squad and we of course are willing him to succeed. If the Trust can raise funds towards the cost of the new cover, then this money will not have to be taken into account when the Board of Directors set Chris his new budget for the new season.

Chris says: "I'm fully behind the Trust campaign and encourage all Imps fans to contribute as we work to take Lincoln City onwards and upwards."

Contributions can be made by joining the Trust (£15 for season ticket holders and £20 for all other fans) or, if you prefer, by making a donation.

By joining the Trust you benefit by becoming a part of the major shareholder of the Club, gaining discounts in the Club Shop, having priority for big match tickets, receiving vouchers for discounts from local businesses and services, and by having an elected representative on the Board of Directors.
