Poacher's Club Meet Gaffer & Watts

Posted on: Mon 10 May 2010

As an exclusive benefit of being a member of the Poacher's Family Club the members were invited to meet Imps manager Chris Sutton and injured player Adam Watts on the last game of the season.

Poacher's members and their parents were treated to a behind the scenes look at Sincil Bank as they were taken in through the players entrance and out through the tunnel into the Echo stand where they awaited an appearance from Chris Sutton.

Chris came out in the rain to chat to them where he talked to them about getting outside and playing football if they want to get anywhere in the business rather than playing on games consoles.

He asked them if any of them played for their school or local team and joked that if they were good they could put on a Lincoln kit and join him on the bench.

Once Chris had finished all the members were given a goody bag before being moved out through the ground and into the Kingston Communications Lounge where Adam Watts arrived shortly after and signed autographs for everyone.

Once all the kids had got an autograph or photo with Adam they all gathered round to ask him questions. Adam answered all their questions and those of the parents before being thanked by the kids.

The afternoon way thoroughly enjoyed by the members and their parents who were all grateful for the time given up by Chris Sutton and Adam Watts.
