We are pleased to announce details of a new scheme which will enable supporters aged between 16 and 21 to take advantage of reduced prices on a match day.

Costing just £5 to join, the Imps Advantage Card scheme will enable supporters under the age of 18* to gain admission on a match day for the junior rate (£7 in all stands) whilst those under 22** will pay the concessionary rate (£11 in Stacey West/GoCar stands, £13 in Co-op/Echo stands).

Supporters signing up to the scheme will be given their own photo ID Imps Advantage Card, which must be shown to the turnstile operator in order to gain admittance at the respective discounted rates. Cards must be purchased from the office on a non match day, where the photo will be taken and the card taken away ready for use the rest of the season.

As a consequence of this, and to avoid confusion on the turnstiles, NUS card holders wishing to take advantage of the concessionary price bracket must purchase their tickets from the Club Office rather than gaining admittance via the turnstiles. But for only £5, and if in the above age range, they can obtain an Imps Advantage Card, and pay via the turnstiles.

Chief Executive Officer Dave Roberts commented: "While in the past we have recognised the issue of those turning 16 leaping up to full paying adult prices on the turnstiles, in reality their income mostly remains the same and the concerns of policing it prevented the age bands being increased.

"We now have the facility to issue photo ID cards in minutes at the office, which will then allow fans to enter with ease at the turnstiles for the rest of the season, at prices that better reflect the reality of wages at that age.

"It is also hoped that we can retain more supporters as they turn 16, and increase our fan base."

Cards will be available for purchase from 9.00am on Thursday 12 August 2010.
Proof of age will be required when purchasing the card.
