The transfer-listed duo of Shane Clarke and Chris Fagan have today had their contracts with the Imps terminated by mutual consent.

A product of the Club's Centre of Excellence, midfielder Clarke made his first team debut in January 2008 and went on to make 75 appearances in all competitions for the Imps, with 33 of those games coming last season.

Irish U21 international striker Fagan, meanwhile, joined the Club in the summer of 2009 following a spell with the Glenn Hoddle Academy in Spain. Having failed to hold down a regular first team place under Chris Sutton's leadership, Chris returned to Spain in February, finishing last season on loan with Jerez Industrial CF. He scored four goals in his 17 League and cup outings for City.
