Noussoura Pens Short-Term Deal

Posted on: Tue 31 Aug 2010

Reunion Island trialist Adifane Noussoura has today signed a deal with the Club that will run until December 31st 2010.

Midfielder Noussoura (18), who has been on trial with the Imps since the end of June and has featured in the last two reserve team games, was recommended to the Club's management team by Didier Agathe, a former team mate of Chris Sutton's during his time at Celtic.

Agathe, who these days runs a football academy on Réunion, a French territory located in the Indian Ocean some 120 miles south west of Mauritius, welcomed City's First Team Coach Scott Lindsey to the island during the summer and following his brief stay, Noussoura - together with fellow islanders Uldric Samaria and Rémy Lauret - was handed the chance to impress in Lincolnshire.

Whilst Samaria and Lauret returned following the conclusion of their trial spells, Noussoura shone enough to be handed a short-term contract and this will become active once we receive international clearance.
