Lee Frecklington is a Lincoln-born central midfielder who worked his way through the Club's Centre Of Excellence before being rewarded with a Scholarship place.
A bright future is expected for the competitive youngster who, after impressing in a 2003/04 pre-season friendly against Manchester City, was handed his first team debut in the Imps' LDV Vans Trophy First Round game against Telford United at Sincil Bank in October 2003.
Frecklington made three further substitute appearances during the 2004/05 campaign and, on the completion of his Scholarship, was handed a one-year professional contract, which he penned in the summer of 2005.
Lee, who had a two-month loan spell at non-League Stamford Town during the latter half of 2005, penned a one-year extension to his contract in March 2006 and this was extended until the summer of 2009 in October 2006.
An impressive season saw Lee named in the PFA League 2 representative side whilst he also won the Club's "Players' Player of the Season" award.
