The Imps' Reserves go into tonight's match away to Huddersfield Town Reserves knowing that they can put a real dent in the Terriers' title ambitions.

With last Wednesday's game against Bradford City Reserves postponed due to a waterlogged pitch at Sincil Bank, the Reserves travel to Yorkshire tonight, hoping conditions are much better as they take on high-flying Huddersfield.

The second string's last six games have produced just three points, and with the bottom half of the totesport.com League East Division being extremely congested, three points are vital.

Last time out it was Grimsby Town Reserves who condemned Lincoln Reserves to defeat, coming back strong in the second half to win 2-1 at Blundell Park, after Brian Gilmour had given the Imps a half time lead.

And in a much-changed starting XI from that defeat by the Mariners, Gilmour joins fellow first teamers Paul Musselwhite, David Stephens, Richard Butcher, Lenell John-Lewis and Paul Connor in the starting line-up.

Wingers James Reid and Michael Gordon are also selected by coach Scott Lindsey, while scholars Kieran Heap, Jake Gibson and Jack Davies complete the eleven starters.

Revenge is definitely on the cards. Back in September a strong Huddersfield outfit outplayed the Imps, coming out with a resounding 0-4 victory at Sincil Bank courtesy of goals from Lee Novak, Robbie Simpson, Robbie Williams and Lionel Ainswo.

Kick off at the Galpharm Stadium is at 7pm with entrance costing £3.50 for adults and £1 for concessions.

A change to the original preview sees Brian Gilmour dropping to the bench with a slight injury worry. Sam Clucas comes into midfield along with Josh Barker while James Reid drops to left back and Jake Gibson is on the bench.
