Lincoln City Football Club

Born in Lincoln, David has been a Lincoln City fan since attending his first game in 1972.

David joined the Board in September 2018 and became the club’s first ever fan engagement director in the summer of 2023.

David has enjoyed a successful career in marketing and general management, spanning more than 30 years. The majority of this has been spent in the consumer goods sector with Unilever where he worked in a variety of senior executive roles, managing some of the world’s biggest food and beverage brands whilst residing in Moscow, the Hague, Singapore and London.

His leadership development experience included attending the Strategic Marketing Program at Harvard Business School. As part of his brand portfolio responsibilities, David has been involved in both company and brand acquisitions and divestments. He represented Unilever on numerous industry associations and was a member of the CEO Forum Group, comprising Unilever’s Top 50 Leaders.

David also has held the position of chief marketing officer for Europe at Samsung where he led marketing strategy, communications and channel execution. He delivered annual, global and European major product launches and events for Samsung.

He joined the board in September 2018 and became the club’s first fan engagement director in the summer of 2023.
