Teenage centre-back Elliot Green has today joined Eastwood Town on a month's loan.
First year professional Green will link up with Eastwood in time for their Evo-Stik League Northern Premier Division home game against Ashton United on Saturday and we wish him every success during his time at Coronation Park.
"Some of our young pros have gone out on loan at various clubs and the opportunity to gain valuable experience in men’s football will hold them in good stead over the next few months and will give them greater knowledge of competitive football," says manager David Holdsworth.
"I'm confident that over the season they will develop because of the opportunities given to them."
