The draw has now been made for the second annual Keith Alexander Memorial Tournament.
In Group A will be Hull City, Boston United, Lincoln City and Scunthorpe United. In Group B are Peterborough United, Corby Town, Grimsby Town and Nottingham Forest. The groups will be the same for both day’s competitions.
The tournament will take place on the 3G pitch at Sincil Bank this coming weekend (18th/19th August). The competition commences at 10:00am each day and is being jointly organised by the Club’s Youth Development Association and the Lincoln City Supporters' Trust.
Last summer saw Hull City triumph in both Saturday’s Under 14 competition and Sunday’s Under 16s event so the other seven sides will be out to topple the double champions.
There is no admission cost and supporters of all the clubs are welcome to come down to Sincil Bank to watch the tournament. There will be food and drink available throughout the day and entertainment during the lunch break from a young local rock band.
The Football Club’s Youth Academy would like to thank Bookers Wholesalers of Sadler Road, Lincoln, Raw Power Prosound Ltd, SportSmart and former City chairman Rob Bradley for their sponsorship of the tournament.
