Striker Sam Smith has today joined Cambridge United for an undisclosed fee.
Smith, who linked up with the Imps last summer having featured for the now-defunct Rushden & Diamonds, enjoyed a prolific start to his City career scoring twice in his first three games and chipped in with a further seven goals before a broken bone in his foot forced him to miss three months of the season.
His last outing for the Club came in the final home game of the season as a substitute against Hayes & Yeading and he leaves with the best wishes for the future.
