Richard Cooper, Manager of Lincoln City FC Sport & Education Trust, is moving on to pastures new.
Richard has led The Trust since September 2006 and he will be taking up a new position at The Football Association as Regional Coach Development Manager in the South East. Richard will still be keeping his roots in Lincoln so we won’t be able to totally get rid of him!
"It has been an unbelievable six years in transformation for the community scheme, from the early days as Football in the Community to charitable status as Sport & Education Trust," said Richard.
"I have given Lincoln City Football Club 12 of my best years in total as a player in the early years, and latterly as a coach and manager of the charity.
"I have so many experiences to cherish during my time at Sincil Bank that I wouldn't know where to begin and I would like to wish everyone connected with LCFCSET and Lincoln City FC best wishes for the future."
