Defender John Nutter has today joined Blue Square Bet Premier rivals Woking on loan.
An ever-present last season, left-back Nutter has recently found himself out of the first team starting line-up following the arrival of Peter Gilbert and will be with Woking until January 2nd 2013.
He has been granted permission to play in the FA Carlsberg Trophy for Woking, although not against the Imps should the two teams be drawn against each other.
"John has joined Woking on a short-term loan in order to get some much needed games under his belt," said manager David Holdsworth.
"It’s a fine balancing act and John has shown true professionalism, insisting he wants to play and is not simply happy sitting in the stands.
"I have a very good relationship with John and I'm sure he’ll do very well whilst on loan at Woking."
