The Future Imps Fund launched at the recent match against Cambridge United celebrated its first 2013/14 kit sponsorship agreement after Saturday's final home game of the season.
Unlike most sponsorship deals this one didn't involve matchday kit. Youth Academy Ambassador and former Imp Dean West was the grateful recipient of Ambassador's Suit sponsorship from City supporter Steve Hircoe.
Life-long City fan Steve said: "I sponsored Dean's shirt when he was here as a player and when I heard Youth Director Roger Bates on local radio before the Kidderminster match talking about the funds needed to keep the Youth Department running I got in touch and we came up with this novel idea for me to support the fundraising effort."
A delighted Dean West added: "I was pleased to accept the offer to help the Future Imps Fund and if I can also attract some investment so much the better."
